Study on High-Temperature Behavior of Coal Gangue-Based Geopolymer Concrete Beams

A newly coal gangue-based geopolymer concrete made from alkaline dry powder activator, gangue, and fly ash has been proposed by the authors. High-temperature behavior of beams with different cross sections reinforced steel bars is investigated in work here. numerical simulation validated existing experiment. analysing section dimensions. Temperature distribution deformation room temperature to fairly high are studied. The isotherm contours at temperatures thermal stress beam time steps obtained analyzed. First, cracking load ultimate cover thicknesses analyzed under conditions. It found that centerline gradually decreases along vertical direction. affected thickness cover. With increase temperature, mid-span deflection increases gradually. High a key factor for behaviors beams.
